The Academy

Tradition. Precision. Grace.

Who We Are

Founded in 1992 by Corinne Glover, the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy fills the need in the Santa Clarita Valley, as well as surrounding communities, with the finest Classical Ballet Training. The academy also offers training in Modern, Jazz, and Tap. Today, the academy is home over to 250 students, as well as 9 faculty, whom all enjoy the luxury of working in over 8,500 square feet of studio space.

The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy provides a comprehensive graded program based on the syllabus provided by the Royal Academy of Dance in London. The RAD is an international teaching organization committed to providing excellence in ballet. The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy uses this syllabus as a basis to ensure correct training and to inspire each student’s creativity, musicality, and dramatic expression. These elements must come together and be taught from the beginning. The Santa Clarita Ballet Academy is committed to meeting the needs of all students, both those who are seeking an outlet through dance to enhance grace, coordination, and posture and those who are studying seriously for possible future dance careers. In either case, it is our philosophy that all students must be encouraged to enjoy the spirit of dance, which should be freely felt through movement and self-expression. Each student is taught to progress according to his or her own ability.

All teachers are credentialed Royal Academy of Dance Instructors.
